Lydmar Hotel![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Located between the Grand Hotel and the National Mueeum of Art, it faces the water on both side. I has water views of the Royal Castle in old town, the bridges and streams of "Strommen" and from the other side, Nybrouiken, Stranduagen and the Royal Dramatic Theatre.
Mr. Per Lydmar once opened his hotel on Stureplan, Stockholm, 1983. It's avant-garde exhibitions and small improv concerts with jazz, rock and hip-hop acts it quicly became a center for the young, creative crowds of Stockholm.
The new Lydmar hotel brings with it it's tradition of the unexpected, and the very much alive atmosphere, it's young, alert and friendly staff, and it's famous kitchen. It's a relaxed atmosphere for an audience thats still wants to be where it happens.
Lydmar hotel has 46 rooms divided up in three cetegories. Mr Lydmar hmself describes the hotel as "being an undisturbed guest in someone's home". He has furnished the rooms with art room his own collection, and together with interior architect Erik Nissen Johansen created an environment quite unique for boutique hotels.
The suites of Lydmar are specially designed for those who want bring an encourage, be it managers, a masseuse or a bunch of a bunch of friends, and the have a unique, closed of "floor" feeling with an advanced security system for those who need it.
